| Anne
Anderson (Aitchison) was born in Edinburgh in 1950 and relocated to
Northern Ireland in 1983. Her work is mainly executed in gouache and
she specialises in life size botanical and wildlife paintings.
Since 1993 Anne
has established herself in the field of miniatures. These are painted
with gouache on vellum. Anne regularly exhibits with the Royal
Ulster Academy and the Art Society Ulster.
The Llewellyn Alexander Gallery and the Royal
Miniature Society exhibitions in London are among other
venues Anne exhibits her work.
Anne currently
lives in the peaceful coastal village of Ballywalter Co. Down and
is working on writing and illustrating a childrens book.
